My name is Alexandre SCHOHN. I come from Strasbourg in Alsace. I have always enjoyed traveling around the world and studying science.

I graduated a Master’s degree in Communication and Culture Scientific and Technical (CCST) at Grenoble. I graduated too a Master’s degree in Earth Sciences, Universe and Environment at Strasbourg. During my studies, I was involved in many associative projects such as, founder of solidarity market for students, the AGORAé Strasbourg.

Following my studies, I started working as a research engineer. I took part in a one-month IFREMER mission in the Antarctic Ocean to analyze submarine volcanoes. I shared my life on the boat and my scientific missions via writing articles.

Subsequently, I set up my project of popularizing science through travel, “We tried to lose it“. On 1st September 2016, I left to discover different countries, cultures and to live new experiences

I am currently working for the Rencontre Montagnes & Sciences association as a project assistant for the dissemination of scientific films by adventurers and explorers who have traveled around the world.ople
